The Humana Foundation needs your input! Please provide feedback through a survey on the look and functionality of their revamped Website, wellzone.org. Anyone who completes the survey will become eligible to win a Wellness Information Zone t-shirt and $25 gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice.

Free to the public from any Internet connection, wellzone.org presents health information that is reliable and presented in everyday language that is easy to understand. The Website is a component of the Wellness Information Zone project, which was developed by The Humana Foundation in partnership with Libraries for the Future; other partners include National Center for Family Literacy, the Clear Language Group, public library systems in Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Houston, and nine Louisville sites–community health clinics, elementary schools and YMCAs.

The Website includes:
- talking video guides that offer a brief tour of the homepage
- more direct access to information
- tools under “Being smart about health care” such as–a patient guide, making a doctor’s appointment, talking with your doctor, questions to ask your doctor, and family health budget
- new material under healthy living such as—more Websites for children, a plan to stop smoking, and prevention information for a number of diseases
